From 750 to 3,700+ orders a month — scaling a 5-store eBay portfolio to £37k/month
A UK seller running five eBay stores handed full day-to-day management to Crown Ecommerce in October 2025. Eleven months later the portfolio processes 5× the orders, closed three consecutive record months, and generated £249k in sales — with zero hours of the owner’s time on listings, orders or customer service.
Five stores meant five sets of listings, suppliers, buyer messages and account-health metrics to watch. Growth had plateaued around 750–1,000 orders a month, and the post-Christmas slump (Jan–Feb) pulled volume down to just over 500. The owner needed a team that could run all five accounts as one operation and grow them without putting seller standing at risk.
- Took over end-to-end management across all 5 stores — sourcing, listing, order processing, customer service and returns
- Rebuilt and expanded the catalogue to high-velocity products, so volume didn’t depend on seasonal peaks
- Ran daily order and message handling with a dedicated team, keeping defect and late-delivery rates in the green
- Tracked performance per store with daily targets and weekly reviews, pushing the weaker stores to match the best
Orders grew from 751/month to 3,729/month — nearly 5× Monthly sales up 85%, from £20k to £36.9k Recovered from a February low of 533 orders to 3,729 by August — 7× in six months Six straight months of month-on-month order growth; June, July and August each set a new all-time record £249k in total sales and 17,926 orders across the engagement Now running at ~120 orders a day across the five stores
“I’ll be honest, I was sceptical about letting someone else run my accounts. But it’s been nearly a year and I haven’t had a single issue. Orders have gone from about 750 a month to over 3,700, and the last few months have been the best we’ve ever had. Wish I’d done it sooner.”
