This policy explains how Crown Ecommerce ("we") uses personal data collected through this website and when providing our services. We are the data controller for this data.

What we collect

• Enquiries: your name, email, phone number, business name and message when you contact us or book a call.
• Purchases: your name, email, phone number, billing address and business name, received from our payment provider Stripe. We do not receive your full card details.
• Onboarding: details about your stores and goals that you give us after buying.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic request information in our server logs, used for security and to prevent spam.

How and why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls (our legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract).
• To provide the services you buy, take payment and manage your account (performance of a contract).
• To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
• To protect this website against spam and misuse (our legitimate interests).

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

• Stripe, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Our hosting, email and booking-calendar providers, who store data on our behalf.
• Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which deliver the fonts and icons on this website and receive your IP address when pages load.
• Our team members, some of whom work outside the UK. Where data is accessed outside the UK, we take steps to keep it protected to UK standards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, and customer and payment records for 6 years to meet UK accounting rules. We then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to move elsewhere. Contact us at our contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
